If a computer is using Directory Utility’s Active Directory connector to bind to an Active Directory server, you can unbind the computer from the Active Directory server.
The main reason to use domain to increase security, that's why we use DC, but in any case you want to change the login do following:-make sure to make user without expire password. The Remove-Computer cmdlet removes the local computer and remote computers from their current domains. When you remove a computer from a domain, Remove-Computer also disables the domain account of the computer. You must provide explicit credentials to unjoin the computer from its domain, even when they are the credentials of the current user. You must restart the computer to make the change. If the computer account disappeared from your domain then re-integrate your computer in your domain and your problem is solved. If the computer account did not disappeared from your domain then proceed like that: 1-Right click on your computer account 2-Click on Reset account.
You can forcibly unbind if the computer can’t contact the server or if the computer record is removed from the server.
- In the Directory Utility app on your Mac, click Services.
- Click the lock icon.
- Enter an administrator’s user name and password, then click Modify Configuration (or use Touch ID).
- Select Active Directory, then click the “Edit settings for the selected service” button .
- Click Unbind, authenticate as a user who has rights to terminate a connection to the Active Directory domain, then click OK.If you see an alert saying the credentials weren’t accepted or the computer can’t contact Active Directory, click Force Unbind to forcibly break the connection.If you forcibly unbind, Active Directory still contains a computer record for this computer. Let the Active Directory administrator know to remove the computer record.
